Annie Johns - an Archive of Work
Again and Again

This installation dealt with ideas around work and Utopia. By using related words and objects in repetitive ways I tried to demonstrate the ongoing presence of work in our lives and the wishes and daydreams that run parallel with it.
I used words and texts as clues and in this piece the ideas were gleaned from several books which take as their subject Utopia, each being a different description of a 'perfect' society.
