We all need little deaths to move forward. This installation (a small detail shown here) was the culmination of five years of return to study as a mature student. An introspective piece, quiet and calm using different elements to evoke particular feelings: set in a blue circle on the floor, the colour of light; several stacks of shelves containing cast wax houses, repositories for thoughts; cast words as reminders; amulets of blue lead to help the changing; a multitude of ritual.
